Here’s the new COBI Panther set recreating the Warsaw Uprising that began on August 1, 1944. Did you know that the insurgents captured two German Panther tanks on August 2? An armored platoon was organized from the German equipment, in which the Panther with its new name "Pudel" served on August 2-10.

The Panzerkamfwagen V Panther was a German medium tank from the Second World War. To this day, it is one of the most recognizable German tanks. Panthers entered service in 1943. They passed their baptism of fire during the Battle of the Kursk, where they were plagued by numerous failures. The elimination of defects revealed the strengths of this tank. It quickly turned out that the Panthers dominated the Soviet T-34 and the American Shermans. Thick armor, advanced construction, high accuracy and one of the best guns of the Second World War (KwK 42 L / 70) made the Panther an extremely dangerous and effective weapon, inspiring respect until the end of the war!

The Panther “Pudel” tank was designed with COBI construction blocks in 1:28 scale, using 840 elements! The model includes movable elements such as a rotating turret, a movable cannon, and working tracks. The hatches in the tank can be opened and a crew of block figures can be placed inside. A brick-built engine is located under the service hatch. Many high-quality prints recreate the unique painting of the insurgent tank. The set includes a figure of a scout from "Gray Ranks" holding a new Polish flag. The figure of the soldier from the Umbrella Battalion also features new prints, including the formation emblem. The set is completed with a plate with the name of the set printed on it.
